Our team is fully remote, distributed across multiple time zones, allowing us to attract top-tier talent from around the world and maintain true 24/7 follow-the-sun operational coverage.
We prioritize intellectual curiosity. Every engineer on our team is allotted dedicated time each week to study new CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) projects, obtain advanced AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes certifications, and experiment with cutting-edge technologies. We firmly reject the concept of "that's how it's always been done" in favor of "how can we automate this to make it invisible?"
A Deep Commitment to Open Source
The very foundations of the modern cloud—Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform—were built by the open-source community. We recognize that our success is built on the shoulders of these giants, which is why giving back to the community is a core tenet of our corporate identity.
We actively sponsor critical open-source projects, and our engineers regularly contribute upstream patches to the tools we use daily. We also open-source our own internal CLI tools, Terraform modules, and Helm charts to help other DevOps teams streamline their operations. By operating in the open, we maintain a high bar for our code quality and foster a culture of transparent collaboration.
The ThoughtRoutes Methodology
Our approach to solving complex architectural problems is rooted in a methodology we have refined over hundreds of successful deployments. It consists of four distinct pillars:
- Audit & Discover: We never guess. We utilize advanced telemetry to map your current state, identifying silent failures and resource bottlenecks.
- Design for Failure: We architect systems assuming that servers will crash and networks will partition. By designing for failure, we ensure absolute resilience.
- Automate Everything: If a task must be done twice, we write a script for it. If it must be done three times, we build a pipeline.
- Continuous Evolution: A deployment is never "done." We continuously iterate, applying the latest security patches and performance tweaks.
